A rich purple colour, with aromas of classic dark fruits, leading into a palate of black current, ripe cherries and a hint of spice. A well rounded medium bodied wine, with nicely balanced tannins and a lingering finish.
This wine is made from select parcels of fruit from blocks four, five and six. Picked slightly earlier than average, the Cabernet Sauvignon had a Baume of 14.3, and the Merlot 14.7.
The wine has been aged for twelve months in a combination of French and Russian barriques.
